Between two exciting new adventures, I want to share with you my experience at the Night Safari of Singapore.
Just next to the zoo, this one opens only at 7.00pm and closes around 11.00pm. You can spend some time really close to animals... small ones or... bigger ones !

A week-end in Pulau Rawa
Hi !
As promised, my new message is in English.
Last week-end, we took the direction of Pulau Rawa, a small island on the east coast of Malaysia.
With Yan and 6 of his friends, we hired a van from Singapore to Mersing, where the boat to the island was waiting for us.
Far from us in the dark sky, we could see and hear the thunderstorm above the sea...
But we got lucky and for the whole week-end rain and thunderstorms stayed away from us !
There are only 2 hotels in Pulau Rawa and we had booked for the budget one, but the quality was indeed very satisfying (except maybe for the shower with saline water ! Strange feeling to brush your teeth with salted water !).
One big white beach just for us and some other tourists (almost all of them were living in Singapore !)
Below, you can see what Pulau Rawa looks like and how hard life in Singapore can be !
Don't ask me why the boat is here. It is, that's it !
The thunderstorm kindly avoided our island !
Here is the place where we slept : Directely on the beach ! Paradise !...
And for the people who really know me, despite the beach, the bungalow, the blue sky, pancakes for breakfast and the boyfriend, week-end wouldn't have been perfect without...

Comme un air de déjà-vu !
Hier soir,
en rejoignant Yan en centre-ville je suis tombée sur une scène qu'il m'a semblé reconnaître, et pourtant j'ai eu un moment de flottement... Cette scène n'était pas vraiment au même endroit...
Et pour cause...
Tout d'abord la belle vue d'ensemble de Raffles Place vue de nuit :
Mais en y regardant de plus prêt, il se passe quelque chose en bas à droite, outre l'agitation traditionnelle de Boat Quay un jeudi soir...
Mmhhh.... Reconnaissez-vous cette couleur dominante ? Dans les tons d'orangés ?...
Non vous ne vous trompez pas !
Nous sommes bien....
...A la fête de la Reine néerlandaise ! Célébrée ici pour l'occasion avec une semaine d'avance !
Petit moment de solitude et de nostalgie d'une ex-amstellodamoise qui n'est pas encore vraiment une singapourienne....
Et à l'occasion de la VRAIE Fête de la Reine, voici les affiches que vous avez peut-être vu en vrai ou dans la presse... ou pas...

Voyage aux Philippines
Pour bien commencer mon expatriation à Singapour, nous avons commencé par 2 semaines aux Philippines.
C'est clairement un pays bien différent des autres pays d'Asie que j'ai pu visiter. Plus pauvre aussi. Deux semaines, bien sûr, c'est court pour visiter le pays (et n'importe quel pays d'ailleurs). Alors considérons ce voyage comme un entraînement pour un voyage ultérieur.
En attendant, voici le diaporama de nos aventures.
